I'am purchasing a Savage LH in 7mm08.  I'am thinking about a Simmons pro-hunter master series 3x10x44 or the Aztec master series 2.8x10x44.  How do you rate SIMMONS scopes for quality?  Does anyone know about their service policy?  Thanks

Simmons used to make a darn good scope ... then went the cheaper lens way as did Tasco for a long time . The old Tasco world class was a descent one but then they went down the same road and self destroyed themselves . Can't say as to the newer models . Bushnell has finally made a good version in the 4200's . I really don't think either company will totally recover from all the bad scopes they threw out and ripped consumers off with .

Look at the SWFA Nikon sale. Why take a chance on a Simmons or Tasco?

Don't waste your money, I am on my third Master Series 2.8X10X44. They have replaced it all three times, but just not durable enough. Had it mounted on my 7-08, I'm going to put it on my 22. Your cash and be spent on better glass!

Thanks rem 788.  I've heard other horrow stories about Simons. I will spend my money on a Nikon Monarch 3x9x40.
