Any opinions on the Sightron SII 3-9x42 vs the Bushnell 4200 3-9X40?

I own a wide range of scopes including two Swaros a Kahles, Zeiss Conquest as well a Nikon Buckmaster and and Bushnell 3200 in similar configurations.  I already have concluded the Zeiss Conquest is almost impossible to beat in that price rangeBig Grin

...But in the $200 to $250 range what are your thoughts.  Please don't mention anything really close to the $300 mark, because at that point I'll just get another ZeissWink

Thanks for any input, particularly in regard to the Sightron vs Bushnell.

I'd get the Bushnell.  I wasn't impressed with the SII that I looked through.  I hear the Big Sky is better, though.

If had $250.00 to spend on a hunting scope this where I'd look. You'll be hard pressed to find better optics for less.

Stay away from Bushnell right now, get a Vortex.  Just as good plus much much better customer service.

+1. I am really leery of Bushnell due to their terrible CS. For myself - I would not consider them as a supplier right now, until they turn the page on their CS practices.
