Anyone have a Sightron SII 4-16x42?

Thinking about putting one on a CZ .22

Any suggestions under $350.00 would be welcomed.

I own one, bought used nice optics I have it mounted on a flat top AR.The warranty is good even if your not the original owner they replace it with a new scope if you ever have a problem. In my opinion the S2 is better than any Leupold VXII.

Are there any particular features you would like for that price?

Must be AO and I think I want a 4x16 power.

Looking at a Weaver V16, A Weaver Grand Slam and a Sightron SII 4x16x42.
Have not been able to see either one in person.  Any thoughts on which one would be better?

Never really looked at the Weaver, but the SII gets good reviews usually.  I would recommend you take a look at the Nikon Monarch 4-16.  It is only a little more than the SII.

Have an SII 4.5-14 AO with HHR reticle on a flat top.  I like it and for the price, I think it gives a good balance of quality and value.

I have the Sightron SII  4-16x42 you are considering and a Leupold VXII Ultralight EFR 3-9x33. I got them for about the same $$ and I think they're both excellent scopes. Someone mentioned Nikon Monarch 4-16x42...I think which you want depends on how long a range you need to shoot. Of these I think I'd go with the Nikon for longer distances.

I have the Leupold 3-9x33 EFR on a Browning A-Bolt .22 and love it.  It focuses as close or as far as you need it to.
