I have the Zeiss Conquest HD5 in 5x25x50 with LaRue tactical quick detach mounts on a 6.5 x 284 and it is zeroed at 200 yds with a 140 grain bullet. I want to use the scope on a 243 shooting 100 grain bullets for deer hunting. The scope has ran out of up elevation adjustment before it got zeroed at 100 yds with the 243. I am not 100% sure but I think both rails are 20 MOA elevation.
Is there anything I can do to get more up elevation adjustment? I would not have thought it took that much adjusting but it is 50 or 60 clicks higher for the 243 so I am not sure what is going on. Thanks for any help. I just can not get my mind around exactly what is going on with this setup. I also use the setup on a 30-06 and it works fine with just a few clicks to zero on it from the 6.5.
