Does Anyone own or have any experience with the SIG P220? I am seriously considering buying one. I have heard and read great things about this handgun! Thanks Brian

Sako, I have owned a p220 for three years, and never had a problem with it. Just my personal opinion, but I would say it is every bit the gun glock is, with a heck of a lot better trigger.

all the police forces around me use them, so i assume there good guns, ive never heard of one jamming, or anything, ive held one, and the slide felt like it was on bearings.

I had one.  Hated it!  Very reliable but a terrible trigger pull.  I will say this, I am a 1911 proponent and I hate all triggers but single actions.  Until fairly recently I had well over 40 non-1911 .45acps.  I was trying to collect an example of every .45 in production.  I wound up selling all of them and just kept my 1911s (let's just say I still have plenty of pistols).  I have now just started to collect examples of all of the 1911 inspired pistols out there.  Thus, nothing but a 1911 makes me happy.  If you have any questions about any other double action .45s just ask, I have pretty much owned them all.  The only DAs that I did kind of like were the H&K USP and the Witness, both of which can be carried cocked and locked.  The H&K is just utterly reliable (even more so then a SIG) and the Witness is shockingly accurate (especially when you consider the low price).
