I have had trouble finding a camo scope in a 3-9x40.

My budget is about $200 give or take a bit for the right one!

Bought a camo slug/rifled shotgun and even though it does not matter, would like to keep the full camo look, but having troubles.

I can find 1.5-4s more so than the higher powered 3-9s.  I shot with a similar gun last year and killed a buck 130yards out so I would like to keep the higher power.

Open to suggestions!

In the long run, since ranges are 200 Yd or less for shots normally with a shotgun, you may well find that you are better served with the 1.5-4.  A 1-4 will give more field of view for the closer shots. Shots that will be ruined if the scope is set to high of a magnification. I can never say I got a deer because of higher magnification.  I have positively missed shots because the scope was set at to high a magnification.

Now the rules have changed again.

I sat with mine at 9x last year for the most part.  I hunt an old corn feild on the edges.  Otherwise in thicker brush I will turn it down.

Just having a hard time coming across a good camo scope...

BUT i did just find Bushnell Trophy 250 DOA, that says to be shockproof.

Nikon and Bushnell both carry camo scopes.
