I did search on "shipping scopes" but was unable to locate anything. I am new to the scope game granted I have been using them for 20 years for deer hunting but upon recently trying Leupolds on a SBH 44mag, and a savage 110 270win the scope bug has bitten.
I have upgraded my 270win scope from the Leupold vx-II 2x9x50mm to a Zeiss Conquest 4.5-14x44mm (still waiting) (from what I've read here its as good or better than my first choice a new vx-iii 4x14.5x50mm Leupold).
Anyway, my question is: How should I package this scope for shipping? I have the original Leupold box and inserts but I want to make sure its well protected and packaged neatly.
Thanks! |

So, bubble wrap inside the leupold box should be could enough? I was going to see if the post office could help me out, but I know that will probably be the most expensive way to ship especially once they know the value.
Thanks for the reply.

Put the scope in the original box, put some bubble wrap around that box, drop it all into a larger box filled with packing peanuts.

Thanks. I wasn't sure what would be the best way and most efficient.
