I need some feedback on the Shepherds Scope. I would appreciate feedback good or bad from anyone who has some knowledge on these scopes. Thanks Taylor

As someone who knows Shepherd pretty well, I'd say they aren't worth the money - and won't be any time soon.

 

I have a good friend who was given a Shepherd for evaluation and it wasn't up to snuff.  He was given the scope to keep, and it ain't good enough to keep on a rifle as a freebie.

 

 

That said, the reticle is cool, and if you take the time to get the right reticle for your caliber, the bullet drop is close - not perfect and not nearly as good as a Kenton knob, but not terrrible.

 

For $700, you can do much better.

+1 on ranburr's comment. I feel as though the Shepherds scopes are the most overpriced scopes in the industry. They surpass Leupold for the worst bang for your buck.
