I believe every American citizen should read this and consider the potential long term consequences of Obama's repeated abuses of power...

There is no political recourse Ted. I love Ted Cruz but he stands no chance against the might power of the corrupt establishment in DC.

We need a country wide Nevada scenario. We need the government to come for our 2nd Amendment rights and be shown the fighting end of our weapons. Thomas Jefferson knew this 250 years ago.

Does anyone seriously consider a political resolution to the massive debt and corruption our nation faces at the federal level?

We essentially need to reinforce the Constitution and Bill of Rights as it was written and add to it what is needed to protect our liberties in the 21st century. The PEOPLE of this nation need to do this. Not a central, massively overreaching federal government, that was never planned from day 1.

It's not a kook notion. It's just simple reality.

I agree with everything you said. I believe Ted Cruz is merely building a case against all the Obama Admin abuses of power so he can "bring the case to the people," and try to educate the voters, as well as try to change hearts and minds within his own party (who fight him almost as much as the Dems do) to change the Republican platform. I believe he knows he's got a steep uphill battle, but at least he's bringing a lot of awareness to these issues to the "sheeple."

We here in TX voted for Cruz to do exactly what he said he'd do in his campaign and what he's currently doing: go to DC and raise hell to get our voices heard and try to change the direction of the cowardly, hand-wringing, "compromising" Republican establishment. He may be one of a very few lone voices, but the alternative is for him to do nothing, or even worse, to become like Boehner, McConnell, Cornyn, McCain, and the other spineless establishment Repubes who stab us in the backs while they tell us they're on our side.

And FTR....i would vote for Cruz over ANYONE in the Republican party at this time. Of course the left and moderates will label him a "far right loon" and he'll get phased out in the primaries by not only them but his own people in the GOP..... Loco

I guess i'm just to much of a realist these days lol. Happens as you age. I pray that it doesn't come to any sort of violence but i fear that if i do have another 40+ years on this earth, will absolutely see it. People are near the breaking point now. All it will take is a forced disarmament by the Feds or something major and that isn't to far off. We only need to look at Western Europe as our future has almost always mirrored theirs.

We have a flawed and corrupt voting system, an increasing number of people dependent on the Federal Gov for free cash, which only increases the liberal voting base, and now a Republican party that wants amnesty for millions of illegals, which will put states like Texas in play for the Dems. If a state like Texas falls, there is no stopping a quick and complete takeover by the liberals. They've practically taken over every aspect of our country now. Politics, Education, Health care, Transportation, etc, etc.....

This nation was ruined by Roosevelt when he enacted Welfare in the 30's. It was obviously for good cause (depression) but corruption and time have morphed it and the vast majority of people here into lazy, inept and uneducated slaves.

Sadly, Obama could fry live puppies in front of children on live TV and they would deny he has ever done anything wrong.. sad, sad, sad.

It is damned hard to trust any of them, including Cruz.
I pray he has no skeletons that come to light and he does nothing stupid.

There is no way he could win California, Illinois, Florida and New York. Anyway, I'm pretty sure he was born in Canada - too bad.

I have hard time believing ANY politician. They are too much in love with their motherland... Europe.

John McCain was born in Panama to American parents.

Ted Cruz was born in ---what---Alberta?---to American parents...A non-issue. ( Unless, of course, the LEFTIES try to make a Big Deal out of BIRTH CERTIFICATES!! )  And it's still a non-issue.

Alan Dershowitz said that Ted Cruz was '..off-the-charts brilliant...' at Harvard Law School, but that Ted was '... driven by Principle....' as opposed to being driven by---umm.....what?  .....LEGAL-ness?.....( whatever bearing that is supposed to have to the mix. )
