I am going to sell a stainless Ruger Ranch Rifle that has a new Vortex Diamondback scope on it.

Do you think it is easier to sell the gun with or without the scope.

The price difference will be $200.

Thanks!

in my opinion it is easier without.  but I'd offer it both ways.

I believe it's much easier to sell without the scope as well. I know as a buyer, the scopes you typically see included with used rifles seldom ever add any extra enticement for me.

Even if a rifle for sale includes a super nice scope, invariably either I'm not willing to pay the extra $ to get it or it isn't a scope I would have chosen for the rifle.

I mostly agree. Then again, if the target audience is not a gun-savvy buyer, he/she might be more interested in a gun perceived to be more turnkey.

I would say it depends on the audience to whom you are selling.
