I currently own a EOTech 552A.65 which I took to the range once and want to get rid of. I think its a little to big for my needs. I want to sell it. Do you guys think $400.00 with an OtterBox is a fair price shipped?

My dream Optic is a Trijicon TA31ECOS 4x32ACOG Dark Earth with the BDC ret and DOC Optic on Piggy Back....! I want it for my Dark Earth SIG 556..... Yea Or Nay?

A mans gotta follow his dreams. If you have compared the two and know for a fact that it will be exactly what you want. Why not go for it.
400.00 sounds fair. You could contact SWFA about a trade as well.

The price for the EOTech sounds fair to me , but I'm no expert. As for the ACOG, I just started using a used one on an AR and I like it.
Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

Oh ya, I almost forgot. What are you using the rifle for? If it is for CQB and you don't expect to go much over 100 yards on peole size targets then you may want to keep the EOTech. If you are engaging targets say 50yds and beyond and/or the targets are small like plates or small critters, then go with ACOG. Match the scope to the use.
Welcome to the OT. Lots of good info here.

I like EoTech for short-range stuff and ACOG for mid-range.  Aimpoint is another nice option for low- to mid-range.

Follow your dreams, else you will buy again.  ACOG makes a fine optic - so long as you need it to do what it does well.

2-3 inch groups are not hard at 100 yards with most ammo . and i could use alot of pratice too

Sub Moa at 200 yds.   39 ft at 100 yds field of view makes it just under 20 ft wide at 50 or just under 10 wide at 25.    This Works, its not a 600 yd set up but the .223 is best at 300 and less and this will do that all day long - without batteries.
