Has anyone ever heard of seal optics? I have an opportunity to purchase an 50BMG and the only info on the scope that is mounted on it sayes "Seal".  I can't find ANY info the this optic on SWFA or even on the web.  It looks heavy duty but I want to know for sure.........................thanks Roger

What kind of .50 cal?
Shoot it until the Seal breaks and heed some of the advice here: http://www.snipershide.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=965536
Note the numerous mentions of SS scopes.

If it is one of these, I doubt it will survive the first round... And MIGHT have better glass than milk bottle.

I wish it was that easy, I need to know if the asking price with that optic is fair.  I know your SS optics are very good, I run one on my Grendel.

I've had "hands on" with the scope in question.  I actually tested one with the hopes that it would be a good scope.  I sent the seller the scope back with the statement that if he did not remove his outlandish claims for the inferior product he was "pushing", I would post my entire review on every website I could find.
While it is not the worst scope I've ever used, it is poor quality, poor performance.  I would not use it on a .22.
