You want Scrumbag to start a "You know your in England, when..." thread, like Ed's "You know your in Texas, when..." thread in the "Ed Show".

What you need is a Prime Minister like Winston Churchill or Maggie Thatcher.

After the way Maggie dealt with Zimbabwe, no thank you!

The right thing to do but I don't think there would have been anyone else who'd have acted differently...

Well folks, sirens going over London this morning. Someone hit some pedestrians and crashed into the barriers at the Houses of Parliament.

Not sure if terrorism related yet. Given this happened at 730 this morning and the area was cordened off before 8, it would seem to be an over reaction... It will be a sad joke if some guy just lost control of his car

Heard about this on the news this morning. Seems it wasn't just an accident, but intentional.

Ya'll need to start carrying guns over there.

I've always said I've never lived anywhere where it would be worth carrying a gun. If the frequency and severity of incidents increases, I might revise that.

Hello Ed,

Yeah the UK has some seriously gnarly coastline. Makes fishing and waterfowling interesting, that's for sure!

In fact, after the bay of Funday in Canada, we have the second largest tidal range in the world. The Severn Estuary has top end tidal range of ~50 feet and on the mud flats, the tide comes in faster than you can run...

I was trying to find a Youtube of the tide coming in.

I have always been fascinated with Britain's Mud Flats!   ( weird! Ha! )

I’ve been to The Bay Of Fundy and they are incredible.

We had heavy rains Saturday that caused flash flooding in many places around the State. 3 people got killed. One guy rode his fishing boat over a dam during a fishing tournament, a kid got sucked in a drain pipe, and a cab driver drowned in his cab trying to drive through a flooded underpass.
Guess which one I suspect as a case of stupidcide?
