I am replacing the scope on my Tikka.  Since I'm doing so with a scope having a 52mm objective, and the original was a 42 mm, that means different rings.  I ordered a set of light weight alloy rings from Talley.

This is only the second scope I have installed, and the process is somewhat different.  While doing the installation I had a mental collapse and managed to try and put the larger screws in a smaller hole.  The results were predicable.  By the time I figured it out, I had stripped the threads from two of the screws.  I tried finding replacements locally and so far have struck out.

I contacted Gary Turner at Talley by e-mail.  Within in few hours he answered the e-mail and offered to send me replacement screws free of charge.

The net result of this is, in the future, when I need rings, guess who I go to first?   I really appeciated the service, particularly since it was clearly my own fault.

That is good news, Jack.
I have been using Talley mounts for twenty years and I have always had great service from them.

You just can't beat excellence, especially when they back it up with professional and courteous customer service.
