I just got the Savage 10 in .308 I bought the savage because I thought it was the best bang for your buck. Iím looking for a good Scope, ring and rail set up. I my club has a 600 yard range. The only requirement is that you donít have to remove any caps to adjust setting, along the lines of the super sniper scopes sold here. I donít have any price rang I just want best bang for the buck and not buy something due to its name.

Welcome Helodad,

Good choice on the rifle. The SS is a very good scope, Then there's the Millett TRS-1, or 2, you might also like the Nikon Monarch Gold, or Bushnell 4200 Elite. These in my opinion are the best bang for the buck scopes.

I like the Millett rings and bases, as well as burris XTR rings. Warne base,

of course if ya got the cash go badger ordinance.
