I got a Ruger 77/22, which is a 22 Hornet for Christmas. I was wondering what brand or size I should buy, I was looking at the Burris Fullfield II  and Bushnell elite 3200. Which one should I get or should I look at another brand?

Gtr Htr,

What will you be doing with the rifle? Target shooting, hunting, and at what range?  Such other info might be useful for a better recommendation for a scope.  Also, what is your price range?

I will be using it for hunting and will be shooting at about 100 yards or closer. My price range is $100-350. I want it to be clear and accurate

For what it's worth I have had a Leupold 6x36 on the very same rifle since 98. Works just swell.

Thanks for the suggestion. How accurate is the rifle?

might look at a nikon monarch. since magnification isn't going to be that big deal u can get a really nice clear scope for that price range. somthing like a 3-9-40 or 4-12-40 would probably be just fine. if your really looking to go all out u could get a bigger objective lense such as a 44 or 50 if u think its neccesary (doesn't like the 50) if you do plan to go this way u might consider getting taller rings to accomodate this rifle i think that ruger will accomodate up to a 42 mm objective lense with the rings provided. heres my recomendations

leupold vxII 3-9-40

leupold vxI4-12-40

nikon monarch ( check series. not sure how the monarch run for magnification.)

weaver V-16 4-16-40 AO

weaver grandslam 3-9-40 ( i think that it comes with this magnification, not sure)

Burris ff2 3-9-40 or 4-12-40AO

Bushnell elite 3200 3-9-40

For what its worth i own two nikon buckmaster series that have served me quite well and have never failed me yet. 3-9-40 or 4.5-14-40AO. both of these scopes are excellant. i've come to like them more than every leupold i've tested. ( personal preferance but owell) happy shopping
