I have one of these in 40mm, and I think it is a fantastic scope for the money.  Optics are good, and it survived about 200 45-70 rounds before it knocked the parallax out of whack and needed to be repaired.  http://www.swfa.com/pc-2173-200-bushnell-3-9x50-legend-rifle-scope.aspx

Too many options is a good statement.  Unless you have some sort of match requirement, you would be better off with a better quality scope without the AO and 40mm or so.  Any
" paper " gains would be made up for by the quality.

bushnell legend is an excellent choice, i think they use the same glass as the 3200 elite, i may be wrong but i could swear they do.

I say Bushnell Legend and if you are looking at the Nikon Prostaff on the sampleist at the price spend the extra 20  or 30  bucks and get the Team Primos well worth the extra cash IMO.
