I have a Bushnell Elite 3200 4x12-40 that I was trying to sight in.  When I was sighting it, I found that the scope was shooting almost 2 feet to the left at 50yds. Adjusting the windage didn't help very much.  This doesn't seem normal to me.  I'll be going back the range soon to try again.  Is there any way to "reset" the scope to factory?

You can try finding the mechanical center of the scope and go with that.

Count the number of windage clicks from side to side and count back to the center.

Good place to start. I would remove the scope first, before finding mechanical center.

Re Center your adjustments as Mark mentioned, and then get a standard Leupold dovetail base, and rings.  With the dovetail mounts, you have windage adjustment in the rear base, so you can keep your adjustment as centered as possible in your scope.........

I did as suggested and found the mechanical center.  I was finally able to get the shot on paper.  Sighting it from there was cake.

Thanks for the help.

I had that problem yesterday. Ended up having to move to the 15yd line. Fired 1 rd adj then moved to 50. Fired 2 then 100 and centered up with a couple of 3 shot groups. I then proceeded to shoot the rest of my ammo for the heck of it. I dont reload and went back to Wal-mart and spent another 20+dollars. Ammo for 300mag isnt cheap. I just cant seem to stop shooting if i have ammo sittin there. I keep trying for that perfect group.
