Hi I am trying to decide on a scope for my 77/22 i purchased a BUSHNELL SPORTSMAN but its too large on the rear eye piece and i cant open the bolt i was considdering either a BSA deer hunter 3x9 40 mm or the SIMMONS 8 point 3x9 40mm. or mabey the Simmons 3-9x32 .22 Mag I know i could get higher rings but the RUGER style mounts are more than the scope. any sugestions or oppionions on these scopes Thanks Edited by HELLHOUND |

I have the Weaver 2.5x7x28 rimfire scope and it does a great job. I have used the simmons 22mag. scope in the past and they are okay but not near the scope Weaver has. You dont want the 8-point on your 22.
