Any recommendations as to who offers repair/clean/re-seal services. ?
I have a couple scopes I'd like to have looked at; to include a US made Weaver, and a couple Japanese scopes.

Thank You,,,

HM

I doubt anyone but the manufacturer will touch them.

Rancid is right, there isn't anyone but the manufacture that will touch it, and that is also associated with the warranty.

Iron Sight does repair and reseals on Weaver and Redfield vintage stuff. Another place is Parsons Scope Service either in Ohio or Oklahoma (can't recall which one).

Does anyone know if Iron Sight Inc. is still in business?

I sent in a scope over a year ago and they told me 9 to 10 months and well it is about 12.
Their website hasn't been updated since Nov of last Year?

From my recent research on this subject, the problem w/ having older or obscure scopes repaired is (other than their makers have gone out of business) so few in the entire world actually offer this type of service. The other problem is wait time usually runs about a year.

In my travels about the web, I did find this place a few months ago :

I used ABO in Florida to repair a "real" Colt made in USA 3x carry handle scope.  They were the only ones I could find who would even try to work on it, and it turned out OK.  I called Colt, but they didn't even know who manufactured the scope for them.  My internet research suggested that it was made in either Wisconsin or Minnesota in the mid 1960's.  If anybody has more info about the manufacturer, I'd appreciate hearing it.
