I have settled on a Nikon Monarch 3X9-40 (Gloss)  that will be installed on a Weatherby Vanguard Deluxe (Gloss).  Could someone please tell me, or give me a link to the exact scope rings and base that I need for this setup?  I know nothing about mounting scopes and will have it professionally done.  Thanks much.

If you would like the original Weatherby scope mounts I believe they are still available through Buehler Scope mounts in California. I don't believe there is a web site however Mr. Bob Ray can be contacted at 925-254-3201 (as of 6-8 months ago anyway). They are very strong and very attractive and a major pain in the azz to set-up. Let your smith worry about that though. Conetrol is another very strong yet attractive 2pc. mount as well.

I am switching ALL of my rings/bases for the new Talley Lightweight aluminum ring/base combinations.  They are tough, lightweight and remove the link between the base and the ring since the lower half of the ring is the mounting base!
