Ok, I actually posted this same thing in the Tcatical forum by accident, thought I was in this forum. My question is what is the best scope for my .22LR Ruger 10/22. I shoot mostly paper from 25-100yds and Shilouttees at 50 and 75yds. It is a customized 10/22 that will hold its own against many of the top target grade .22's. It currently has a Bushnell 3-9x on it that is pretty old. Though I can't really complain to much about the current scope, it leaves alot to be desired. The scope I want for it must have the following: AO, Target style knobs, good optical clarity, and hold zero pretty well. The ones I am looking at right now are the following:

1.)http://www.swfa.com/pc-8106-202-burris-4-12x32-compact-ri mfire-airgun-scope.aspx

2.)http://www.swfa.com/pc-4532-203-new-burris-6x32-fullfield -ii-rifle-scope.aspx

3.)http://www.swfa.com/pc-2330-256-weaver-4-16x42-classic-v1 6-series-rifle-scope.aspx

Yes the power range is alittle high on the variables listed, but that doesn't bother me, I like to use Higher power to spot the target/see where the rounds hit, and the lower powers for actuall shooting. I am kinda leaning toward the Burris compact because of its size and options, but I have no experience with Burris scopes. I am not sure I want another 3-9x, that is why I didn't list one. Any advice would be much appreciated.

My vote , Burris 4-12x32 in the quad. find alot of 22 ammo at 100 yds trajectory quite abit different, select 4 loads and set to each.

bells and whistles like zoom, parallax adj, and plex are always nice to have. Like Gunfucious said "Best to have and not need than to need and not have".

all are going to hold very well.
