I have a Bushmaster modular carbine with the AImpoimt scope but I am looking at gettting a rifle scope with magnification.

Mostly range shooting at 100 yds t omaybe 300 yds.

Looking at the the Leatherwood M600 with variable power or possibly the Super sniper scope.  Any comments rergarding these two and also regarding the Super Sniper what power would be good for the above shooting distances?

This scope is good to go, if you want a fixed x.

I got a B&L 4x12x40 AO 10 years ago from SWFA for $250[ now nearly the same scope is Bushnell 4-12x40 Elite 3200 Rifle Scope $270.

That scope on a Bushmaster V-match flat top horrible.
I could not see through that scope and no one else that tried could either.
That scope now resides in my scope junk box.

A few months ago I got a Super Sniper 20X for $300, it is now on a Wilson bull barrel AR.  I can't see anything with it, and neither can anyone else. I am going to take that scope off and throw it in the junk box.

A year ago, I got a Burris 3x9x40 illuminated balisic plex from SWFA for $320. A couple of batteries went dead, and I was going to throw that scope out when I got some Lithium batteris on the internet, and now that Bushmaster V-match rifle is my main coyote gun. I really like that scope now.

Those goofy clip on scopes for ARs with the carry handle/ rear sight are 4X and not so good.
Mine is in my junk box.

For testing AR15s and handloads at the range, I have a Leupold 6.5x20x40 Vari-iii boosted by Precision Reticule to 13x40x40.

I recently shot 1500 rounds at varmints with a Ruger 10/22 with a Simmons $37 22mag 4X scope.
4X was about right for finding 14" of elevation and 14" of windage from looking at the puffs of dust from misses.
It took 6 rounds to hit a varmint at that range, when I was doing good.
That scope is fine with brown rodents on green back ground, but it really sucks for brown varmints in brown dirt.
The color is not good enough.
I am switching to a Leupold 2x7

If one were shooting coyotes at 30 yards with an AR15, a red dot is best.
If one were shooting coyotes with an AR15 at 400 yards, a 4X scope  would still be a good choice.
But if someone wants to shoot ground squirrels at 200 yards with an AR15, a variable with at 20X at the top would be better.
If someone is going to the range with and AR15, 40X is best.
