First off, Welcome to the OT.
That said, What is this bad boy going to be doing for the most part? Hunting, target shooting?
If you give us a better description of what you want to do with it the better we can come up with a scope recommendation.

I would like to have a scope that is going to perform in low light as well as perform out to 4 to 5 hundred yard if the opportunity ever arose.

I'd pick the Meopta or Kahles

the only issue i have with the kahles is the new ownership deal and the new cs dept stuff, other than that they make great scopes they can compete with scopes in the $800-1000 range

I wouldn't hesitate to do that. I have a Nikon Monarch from the sample list and it's perfect.

i wouldnt hesitate either, most of them are in almost new condition, display models or salesman models in a lot of cases, some are well used so look the pictures over.

thats fine nothing wrong there, the cl is better than the kx anyway the multi zero isnt really a selling point for me but its still a very nice scope

I would like a 30mm but just don't know if i want to spend that much vs down grading to a lesser scope . I will kick it around for a few days .

Here are my two recommendations, Kahles are great scopes but the company is in transition
right now so I'd have to wait and see on those.  But these two have great glass and 30mm tubes for more ups.

Just my .02
