I just picked up a Mannlicher Schoenauer 1908 carbine.  It has a German Claw mount 1" and has a Luopold 2X compact and I want to upgrade the scope.  I have another Mannlicher Schoenauer 1960 carbine that I purchased an older Zeiss low power variable 1" from the Sample list.  This scope is a very long scope close to a foot long.  I would love to find another one of those for the new rifle.  If I have to go with a new scope what would be the recomendations be.   I am partial to 4a German reticles.

Thanks,

Be careful with picking the scope-claw mounts are very nice but there is compatibility issue with them.I doubt that you will be able to put larger scope on the rifle without major and expensivegunsmithing.

Any pics?

Cheers
