Looking to get a scope for targets out to 500 yards and deer hunting to about 200 yards. Looking to try twisting turrets that will return to zero (hope I'm explaining it correctly). Budget around $400 and have purchased several optics from the Samplelist. I am not looking for a reticle that is too complicated.
Your input will be appreciated.

I have hunted with T3 Lite in .308 for several years now and use the SS 3-15. I occasionally consider going with the SS 3-9 (a scope I've also used) because it's 5 oz. lighter. But I like the mag range a lot.  This Tuesday, the SS 3-15 in second focal plane will be right at your budget...heck of a deal.

FYI, I prefer first focal plane scopes and would invest the extra. You can still get 10% off, which helps. $150 isn't that much more to pay when you figure a scope like this will last for many years.
Reaction time is a factor...

FFP is useful if you plan to adjust fire on the reticle. Beyond that, enjoy the discount, get SFP.

Hard to beat the deal going right now on the 3-15 SS
