So I am getting my 20in AR back from ADCO after having the bbl contoured to Medcon profile in order to lighten it up.  With that in mind, I am trying to figure out which of my scopes to mount.  I like to call this my SPR.  I mostly punch paper, of course.  I want to keep it as light and balanced as possible.

So here are the scope contenders:

Burris FF II Tactical 2x7 at about 11 oz.
SWFA Super Sniper 10X at about 21 oz.
Sightron II 3x12 AO at about 17 oz.

If you are not going out past 300 yards then go witht the Burris. However, if you want to punch paper at
400-500 yards then go with the Sightron.

Thanks Vlad

I just mounted the Burris 2x7 and will zero this weekend.  I figure it is good for "minute of Man" at 600 yds?  I will see if the thing is still as accurate as it was before I had the barrel contoured down to medcon instead of the HBAR it started as.

I have to say that now that the barrel has been lightened, the rifle is much lighter and balanced.  Kind of like Fox news.
