If my eyes are not tricking me, why is the Elite4200 1.5x6 almost $100 dollars more now at swfa than it was in March of this year? Also ,are there plans to offer this scope with a fire fly or German post reticle?

Bushnell has implemented a minimum advertised price policy (MAP) that all authorized dealers are to abide to.  We do offer a 110% low price guarantee if you find one for less.

arro, email bushnell with your question about the firefly in that scope, that is an AWESOME idea, a heavy firefly reticle would be perfect for dangerous game in low light.

Sure thing. I need a scope now however so if they eventually get around to a reticle change for what in my opinion is the best scope they make in the 4200 series, I'll be kicking myself right in the reticle. (boy, bet that's gonna hurt)

Seen these scopes on other store's sites for a little over $300.  Sorry SWFA.

Chris at swfa works very hard answering everyones  questions on several web sights. Yes it is a good way to garner business and I'm sure Swfa has sold many scopes as a result and this procedure is a very good business practice. Chris does this with an air of integrity and knows people are picking his brain and then purchase elsewhere to save some bucks, but he offers advice any way. In order to stay competitive, the advertised price is not necessarily the sale price hence Swfa %110 percent guarantee. Find the same scope elsewhere for less and Chris will match and then beat that price. Honest advice with the lowest price. How can you beat that combination?

No question about it, SWFA, overall, is numero uno.  Bought nearly all my optics from them and will continue to do so.
