Is there a scope maker that offers scopes and mounts with index marks for lining up the scope to the rifle? I mean a mount that has a mark for the vertical center of the rings and a scope tube that has a mark for the vertical axis of the tube so you just match them up.

An easy way to get the scope close to being lined up is to remove the bolt and then use the vertical cross hair to draw an imaginary line through the bore of the rifle from behind the rifle.

As I understand your question, no.

Many scopes have lines that could be used as indices, and a few mount manufacturers have marks that could align with the indices; however, I don't know that anyone offers this as a means of scope mounting.

Spuhr does have a wedge that can be used, when engaged in a notch on the base of the mount, to align mount and scope.  It works okay.

Feeler gauges, available at any auto parts store, also work quite well; that is my favorite method for mounting a scope when there are not levels and flat surfaces around.

And you can always use a plumb line and a single level(on the gun) to get things true.

Cheap levels like this one can get you close as well. I put the rifle in a vise that is level and then place the level across the top of the scope bases to see if it's level. After that I place the level on the top of the scope turret and level again. This assumes that the reticle is not canted in the scope itself. Again, not perfect by any means, but it will get you pretty darn close.

Wheeler make this.  It puts the one level in on the action rails as sometimes a base is not square because the top of the action is not square.  And also sometimes you don't use bases that have anything to put a level on.
