When a manufacturer says the scope has 30 moa of elevation travel, does that mean total or in each direction?  Sorry for the stupid question.  With a 223 or 243 zeroed at 100 yards, will the Elite 4200 have enough adjustment to  be on at 500-600 yards?

Usually when a scope manufacturer say MOA of travel, that is for each direction.  Now, the question you ask, you have to be specific to the scope you are asking about.

But, with that range, the answer is probably going to be yes, regardless of the scope.
