Just bought an S&B 4-16 that has a P3 (mil dot) reticule. The websight does not show
mil dots being available on anything except the new 34 mm models.
this is a 30 mm that looks just like the ones on the SWFA site shown as 30mm hunting models.
(ditto the S&B website). As it is marked "Klassik" rather than the S&B logo on the
eyepiece, I wonder if it's a bring back. It is new enough to say Made in Germany

My bet is it is a Schmidt & Bender Precision Hunter... it is a 30mm with Mil Dot.

Close but no cigar as mine has no BDC on the top ring, just the regular elevation turret
and the side turret does not say precision hunter, it says Long Range.
Still somewhat of a mystery.

You have the 4-16x50 Klassic, you can send it to S&B or Premier in the US and have a Mil-dot put in it.

4–16 x 50

An outstanding long-range scope, equipped with a third turret parallax adjustment. A large objective lens makes it well suited for low-light hunting. Also an excellent performer in target competitions. Available with standard and special varmint reticles, and also in our Precision Hunter series. Specifications

You can also get it in the PH,

4–16 x 50 Precision Hunter with P3 reticle
An outstanding long-range scope, equipped with a third turret parallax adjustment. At 4x, the Mil-Dot reticle with fine crosshairs and four posts allows quick target acquisition. At 16x, the Mil-Dots become visible and can be used for precise rangefinding, trajectory and windage calculations. The top-mounted BDC has 5mm (1/5" clicks) for quick adjustments to 500 yards. The windage adjustment also has 5mm clicks for precise sighting in. Specifications

or in the PMII,

4–16 x 50 Police Marksman II
The same features as our 3–12 x 50, but with added magnification for extreme precision at longer ranges. Parallax adjustment included. P1 or P3 reticle. Specifications

Alot of S&Bs are sent to the factory for reticle upgrades, I would guess your scope has been modified.

I would call S&B and give them the serial# on the scope and see if they have a history they would share

with you.
