From what i have seen and heard, this is an all around superb scope.  It would be going on a 300 RUM, which i think would be complemented great by this model. What all do you think, considering it is a very expensive scope? Is it worth it? From what i have seen, it has some of the best glass and has great clarity and light transmission.  Opinions and other recommendations for this rifle? Thankyou

Yes, it is a superb scope, but when you get in that uber scope class, so is the Zeiss Victory Diavari, Swarovski Z6, and Kahles C / CSX.  You can't go wrong with any of those.  I'm assuming you're talking about hunting scopes here.  You won't notice much, if any difference optically, and mechanically they are all sound, so pick the scope that offers a reticle design or other features you prefer.
As for the question of whether or not they are worth what they cost, there is no sure answer to that eternal question.  It all depends on what is important to you and what price you're willing to pay for increasingly small improvements in performance.  When you consider you can get some really fine scopes for 1/3rd the price of those, it's hard for many hunters to justify the steep price tag.  You can get a helluva great 1" tube scope for $800 that will provide 85% of the performance you get with these top of the line 30mm scopes.
You will certainly be happy with any of these scopes, but "worth" is a very subjective thing that varies with different wallets.
