I am wanting to get a Powder Scale & Dispenser combo to make it easier to reload, there is two that i am looking at, they are the Hornady and RCBS, the Hornady cost 80 dollars less, is there any reason why i would need to spend the extra money and get the RCBS one, they both seem like they are pretty good at what they do.

Just to give you a different point of view. I started out reloading using the Lee hand loaders with the little scoop to throw my charges. I then graduated to a more conventional setup press dies powder measure etc. I never felt the powder measure was a accurate as the scoops so I bought a full set of the scoops and don't you know checking both with my scale the scoops proved more consistant than the measure. I sold my measure and have never looked back. I now scoop all my loads and if I want in between charges I simply scoop into the scale and trickle the charge up to the weight I want. It's fast efficient and cheap and since I was never one to try and redline my reloads I have never had a hard time finding a load/scoop for what I want. Save your bucks get a electronic scale and a set of scoops.
