Now to get to the range.

Have the Triad Tactical stock pack on her...

Yes, it was threaded from the factory.  Savage is doing that more and more I notice.  A nice idea.

I was looking for another Eagle Stock Pack, but it looks as if Steve has a line on these with his Triad packs.  Same as Eagle as far as I can tell.

I have both. To be honest, I like my old Eagle a tad more, but both are great products. The Eagle seems a little more pliable.
My Triad has the shell loops on the inside of the pack, as opposed to the outside. Keeps ammo cleaner, so maybe it's a draw between the 2.

Anywho....Nice set up, Bomb Guy.

OK..been to the indoor range to set up the scope.  Sad to say but after about 6 or 10 rounds I was getting flyers; turns out the scope base came loose.  So we tightened it all up and I went back to doing the battlesight zero.  Got the scope pretty dialed in.  I will re verify next weekend.

But you can see the last two groups here.  Last group of three are left.  Last group are center.  Not sure I am totally happy with it.  But I put more rounds downrange that I wanted to for this.

This is only 50 yards.  Groups of three.  Ammo is Federal Fusion 210 grainers and my objective was point of aim exactly at the bull.   I am not as steady as I like.  I was using a Harris bipod.

I actually made one last windage correction with the last two shots, which as you can see are pretty close together.  So I guess I am ok.

Next time I will try my bag instead.

But it is what is it.  The recoil is not a factor at all as the M41 brake takes all of that out of the equation.
