It's been awhile but we finally have another project Savage up on Gunbroker.com
We put together a completely ready to go and highly accurate sniper rifle. Purchased a factory new Savage Model 10FP HS Precision, and scoped it with a 10x42 Super Sniper. Had it professionally broken in and sighted in by Mike McDonald. The results from Mike at the range are pictured below.
Note that Mike’s report was done at 200 yards. The target on the left was with a 168gr bullet while the right target was with a 175gr bullet. Also pictured is Savages 100 yard 5 shot .8" range report
The rifle will be completely stock, no modifications were done. Ready to go to the range or competition upon delivery. Included in package: Burris Xtreme Tactical 30mm low rings #: 420160 Burris picatinny rail top on front ring Burris Xtreme Tactical two piece all steel base #: 410615 Harris Ultralight bipod Series S Model BRM, Swivel head, notched legs, extends 6”- 9” Mil Dot Master book with slide rule A 2.25 stackable sunshade Anti Reflection Device (ARD) screws into the objective or sun shade of any SS, works with or without Butler Creek flip ups Super Sniper ball cap ![]() Edited by Chris Farris - March/07/2008 at 11:46 |

It sold for about 20.00 less than if you were to buy everything yourself. If you take into account this one is already sighted in then you save a little more in ammo. A good deal I would say. |
