For those of you who have bought scopes off the sample list, what do you think about the deals? I have bought several scopes and my binoculars from SWFA , but all have been new. I have nothing but good things to say about my past experience. I need 2 new scopes and found one is on the sample list, but it seems like I might be better off to just get the new one. The price is too close to the same as the new one. I am scared to buy from the sample list, because I am scared that I will later wish I had just bought it new. However, if I buy the one from the sample list, it saves some money to go towards scope number 2. What have you guys thought about youre experiences with the sample list? I will always buy my optics here, just dont know about the used stuff??

I would not hesitate to buy from the SL. I have never seen a post critical of the SL. Everything is well described and
pictured and in many cases the original warranty stays in place. It's far less of a crap shoot than Ebay and even
there after buying 100+ scopes I've only had three that were not quite as described. Most folks are honest....SWFA
exceptionally so. PM Chris, I'm sure he can answer any ?s you may have.

I have bought two scopes from the Samplelist and it was hard to tell they were used, other than coming in a plain box.  If paying more money for a box that will sit in a closet is worthwhile, than go ahead and pay full price, you will not be disappointed buying from the SL or SWFA.  The cost to replace both scopes now would be double what I paid on the SL (but then they are Leupys and they have priced themselves a bit high now).
