Okay, a good friend of mine recently purchased a new-in-box set of Sako Finnwolf rifles, which come in a .308 and .243.  He is asking me to rig them for him.  I've already got the scopes figured out but I am not familiar enough with these rifles to know the ring/mount combinations that would work, or if mounts are even needed for that matter.

Could anyone who has familiarity with these rifles please help?

Thanks.

Hi ND2000,
The Finnwolf uses the same Redfield/Leupold mounts, or any other mounts for that matter that is the same for a Winchester model 88/100. I haven't looked for mounts on this sight, but I've found them at competitor USA previously. That's a fairly common mount.

P.S. I own both 88's and Finnwolf rifles so I can speak with a little authority.( no guessing here)

Huntmaster -

Thank you.  I will pick some up shortly then.

Hopefully I'll get to shoot the guns first for doing all the work.

You will fall in love with the Finnwolf. Go ahead and start saving up the funds. They will stack in one hole and are very comfortable to shoot. And if that isn't enough, wait 'till you ratchet that smooth action.
