Hello All I am a new member and if this is in the wrong area please let me know.

I just bought a sako finnlite in 308 cal and I am trying to mount a swarovski z6 2-12 on it. I have puchased Talley rings and bases/ optilock ring mounts all of them have been in low to extra low height. The scope fits fine with the 50 mm bell but I cant get it to shoot to zero. I have the elevation all the way and I cant raise the point of impact anymore. It still shoots 6" low at 100 yds.

Swarovski swears this is not a scope issue but some other problem.

Help  any ideas on where i can start would be appreciated.

Does the scope adjust correctly?  As in with with it topped out and still shooting 6" low can you adjust it down 1MOA and it be at 7" low?

Have you tried switching the front and back rings?  Not sure you can with the sako spacing but its worth a try

Did you mount the scope yourself....have you successfully mounted other scopes before?  How did you bore sight it?  Have you tried another scope with the same rings and bases to see if the problem persists?

Good point
Yes I have mounted others with no problems a all. I tried another scope and the same problem occured. Thats why I was wondering if the receiver could be out of level.

You may want to contact the sako or the dealer and see if you can get this resolved through the warranty.
