decided to put a few down range with this gem yesterday as I was breaking in the P365, what a nice piece of equipment!  it was windy as hell and I still shot some small groups!  thought I wished I had gotten a 4" barrel, but the 6" shoots so well.   Glad I got it out.  I was shooting 38 special and 38 +P, both shot well. Big Smile

Nice looking revolver.   I used to have 3 S&W 686s 2.5in, 4in, 6in (7round cylinder) and 3 629s 4in, 6in, 8 3/8 in.  I had to sell them all... broke my heart.  Also had a stainless Colt Python... yep, it's gone too. LOVE stainless wheel guns, though...

I have the little brother... SP101. It’s a keeper also.

One of these days, maybe I'll get back around to a stainless revolver... dang, you guys have opened up my "wish list".  Just no way I can replace what I once had "cost effectively".  I paid $300.00 for my Python in perfect condition, $250.00 - $300.00 each for my Smiths.
The Rugers are excellent.  I've got a buddy who has a couple... have fired them at some of the IDPA spinoff matches.

I have a ruger super Blackhawk in 44mag, and I love that gun.
I also have a ruger Alaskan guide, 2.5" barrel, in 454 Casull, and I hate that gun. It is a supremely potent anti-bear gun: if the projectile doesn't kill him, the concussion should at least knock one of us out cold.

Damn, I might need a revolver too. I've always wanted a color case hardened revolver, but it can't be in some caliber that requires me smelting lead.

My wish is for a Stainless Ruger Bisley Hunter 7.5" barrel topped with a Leupold two-ta scope.

If I ever get a chance to Elk hunt in bear country, my buddy has a couple 44 Mags I can pick from, or I'll be adding one more to the pile.  Big Grin

That Ruger is a great gun. I have only shot them in 4" and it handled real well. They are no doubt strong like any Ruger revolver. Mine is a Redhawk.
My .357 is an oldie N Frame I traded for a 1973 Suzuki TS185.

WOW Doug! A Smith Mod. 27 with a 3 5/8 inch barrel. I noticed the jeweled hammer, and trigger so it must of had some custom work done.

I'm a sucker for .357Magnums. Shame I don't shoot them as much as I used to.

I have a Redhawk in 45 LC.  Love that pistol.  My buddy Richard did a trigger job on it for me, made it nice and smooth.

Load that thing up with some 300 grain hornadys and a stiff charge of h110 and it will really numb the hands and wrists.  I need to get one in .357.  Its a great caliber.
Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.

Nice gp-100 !  I had the 6” with full lug. It handled the hottest mag loads without any problems.  I wish I still had it.
