One of the bigest advantages of it is that you can clean from the rear of the barrel without having to take the entire thing apart. The SR22 pistol is also very nice and ultra reliable with all ammo.

My dad bought one of these take downs an said he had trouble getting it zerod. I'm thinking was prolly operator error!

Was he using a scope or the iron sights that came on it?  The usual suspect is the mount as most 22 rifle base and rings are not very high quality.
