I was only considering Ruger factory mounts for the 2-7 Monarch I picked up for my 45-70. SWFA does not carry them and I have looked at some of the others, Leupold for one and the Warne for the other. I like the quick detach feature of the Warne though I have to admit a negative prejudice towards MIM.............

Any opinions would be appreciated

Thanks,

Doug

Though they aren't QD rings, S&K makes some nice looking, very unique Ruger rings.  The unique thing about them is they have only 1 screw.  You simply bend the rings around the scope and mate at the bottom.  It may sound rather flimsy, but I assure you, it's a very strong setup and as sleek looking as you can possibly get.  Here's some on my modified M77, though the factory finish has been changed to Cerakote.

Very nice, the gun, mounts and scope.

I have checked out their web site and like what I see.

Thanks Ted,

Doug
