Looks like the high rings will work on that scope.

I have had a 50mm scope on my abolt using the same mounts you have and had the med.rings and there was plenty of clearance.I changed to a 40mm scope the other day and whiched to lows but before i mounted it i just checked to see if the 50mm would go on and it did.I might of got maybe 3 sheets of note book paper between the scope and barrel .thats little to close for me so i would recommend the med.

Thanks for the correction, ronnie.

Yeah, if mediums work go that way, shells. I was just going off the Leupold mount wizard.

Yeah, that sounds a bit on the tight side, but I guess if you can see light through the space between barrel and bell, it should be O.K., unless you're shooting a flexible action in a powerful cartridge. If you've ever seen the slow-motion footage of the scoped .50 BMG. (Barrett?), you would understand how a scope with a very minimal amount of clearance could still be thumped by the barrel. The amount of flex in the scope tube upon firing is simply shocking as well.

thanks for the replies i bought the highs at first but after the second reply stating he used med i took them back and got the med i installed them and there is just enough clearnce to slide the cardboard instructions that comes with the rings between the bell and barrel which should be enough i love the clearness of that new kahles scope thanks to all.

Outstanding!! Thanks for the update.

Sounds like the scope will be nice and low with the mediums.
