Looking for a recommendation on rings for a Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter.  I've got a Burris 2x7 that is slightly too long for the std rings that came with the gun.  Just not enough clearance between sights.  Eyepiece just does hit the rear sight, even when turned all the way down.

Thanks
Vic

This sounds like the rings are too low. You can go with higher rings, Ruger or after market.
If it is a length issue http://www.swfa.com/pc-1342-484-b-square-revolver-mount.aspx

...............I think you have the Ruger Bisley hunter! You need a taller ring for the rear and the next size smaller for the front as the built in intregal mounts are offsetting heights. Sounds like height is your problem with not enough clearance..........Ruger rings come in low, med, high, and ultra or extra high. You probably need to go with a high in the rear and medium for the front site....If that isn`t enough then you will need an extra high ring for the rear site and a high in the front!...........
