Hello I'm new to this forum and have a question. I have a Browning X Bolt .300WSM and today I purchased a Zeiss Conquest HD 5 3 x 15 x 42. I'm hoping to get some information on the best rings and what height rings I will need to clear the objective lens.

Think I answered my own question! Went to SWFA.com and found Zeiss rings in medium height.

I bought Talley Lightweights for my x-bolt and never looked back.

I would suggest Talley all steel bases and rings. They are excellent quality. They hold zero and even in the permanent ring, remove and remount with great re-zero.

Thank you all for your help I purchased the Talley low rings and installed them last night. Today I took my rig to the range and zeroed in at 100yds. I would say they were all grouped within the size of a quarter. Once again thanks!

Thanks for your help with the X Bolt. I didn't even have a chance to take pictures, had a friend that just had to have that rig so I sold it to him.
