Looking for 30mm rings that will fit the original sako finnwolf bases. See pic below please. How do I search for them? Were these the optilocs or ???????

Would like to keep original configuration for peep sight use.

Gotta love those Finnwolfs ! Nice rifle. The peep sight came on a select few 'wolfs, and would be to your advantage to tuck them away in a safe somewhere for future use.

Basically does the Finnwolf  take the same rings as the Sako 75 or 85.

I don't think so. The newer models ( 75 and 85 ) use a built-in dovetail that seems to be larger in the grooves than the screw-on bases ( factory ) you have. You may find some dovetail rings to fit, I figure someone here will be able to help you with that.
If you have to get new bases , remember Winchester model 88/100 Redfield or Leupold bases will work, I don't blame you for trying to find rings that will fit the original SAKO bases though.
