Just picked up a Weatherby Fibermark 7mm Wby Mag. I'd appreciate some input on the best QD rings for this rifle/caliber or if fixed is a better option. If ya' got any for sale that'd be nice too! Thanks.

The mounts sold by Weatherby are Talleys. I can't think of a better detachable mount for the money. I have them on several rifles from .260 up to .375 H&H and they are solid as can be. They return to zero very well and let me carry back up scopes.

The Buehlers were always nice and Weatherby bought them. Like Conetrol they always seemed to have some class others were lacking.
I'll still take the Talley, especially when needing a QD. There isn't much choice, then, IMO. Though, the EAW's are supposed to be very good. http://www.swfa.com/c-1302-weatherby.aspx http://www.swfa.com/c-241-talley-quick-detachable-scope-ring-systems.aspx |
