In process of buying a Weaver Tactical 3-15x50 scope to mount on a Savage 116 Long Action. I am considering using TPS TSR 30mm Rings, but would really appreciate any other suggestions of which bases and rings you have found has worked well.

I have three rifles now that have the TPS rings, both "W" and Picatinny style and one set on order.   They appear to be as good and the Leupold Mark IV Tactical at half the price.
