first off merry Christmas!!

next, will a sightron s2 scope fit standard bases and rings for a savage 110, or will extension rings be needed.  also i have a gift card for a small sporting goods store and all they have are leupold and millet bases for savage 110.  the rings dont indicate specifically for savage.  i like the steel bases and rings.

also, i will have to order sightron online, and have used competitor, but am thinking of swfa, have never ordered from them, but have sent an email to customer service with a question on nikon products, and they sent an email asap.  they are cheaper, even with shipping, but do they have a pretty good turnaround time?

thanks

I'm thinking it will require the extension base that comes back over the action cut-out some. The 110 is a long action, the 10 is the short, I tried to mount a sightron big sky on a 110 and it definitely needed the extensions to fit the scope between the rings.
