I would like to purchase a BSA Sweet 17 3-12x40 to go on a right hand Savage .17.  What rings and bases are available to complete this installation?

What model Savage do you have?  Most .17 calibers come equipped with weaver style bases already installed, so you may only need a set of 1" rings.

I'm out of town right now so I can't be sure.  But I think it is a Savage Model 93R17-FV.  The Savage website shows this particular model coming standard with bases.  However, the last time I was at home I looked at mine and I think I remember that my particular gun didn't have bases.

If you gun does not have bases, then Burris makes a two piece base for that gun.

The part numbers are 410218 for the bases, and the rings 420052.  A set of medium height rings should work fine.

Oh yea.  We can get you into a good set of Weaver style rings.

Let me know,

Dave
