Hi,
I just ordered an Zeiss Conquest 6.5 - 20 x 50mm scope which has 1" tube, and am going to order a badger base and some badger rings (with 1" inserts).  Question is, what size rings should I use and what will fit??  I plan on using butler creek flip up caps.   This setup is going to be on a Rem 700 LTR.

Thanks,
Harold

Welcome to The OT!!

I recommend using a Badger 20 MOA rail for the Conquest. They are nice scopes, but suffer dismally from a lack of elevation.

You will need medium Badger rings with a 50mm objective.

I'm a big Badger guy....Ask anyone on here.

But, that's a chunk of coin to lay down WITH the inserts.

What about a Badger 20 MOA rail and Leupold Mark 4 1" rings??

Save a few bucks.

Warne also makes superb 1" rings for a fraction of the cost of Badgers.

Something to think about. You can't go wrong with Badger Ord. either.

Cheaptrick,

Thanks for the speedy reply!  I appreciate all the info.  I'm gonna probably stick with the badger rings.  Will let you guys know how I make out.
